Where do you find driving lessons?

I've been looking for a change in pace, so my mom and I have decided to learn to drive together. A good thing for my mom too, since she's afraid of riding horses and would like to figure out what's so great about them that people get hooked.

Anyway, where can I find someone to teach me? Is there certification site that I could browse through and find someone close? Do you just ask around until you stumble upon someone whose "cousin's wife's hairdresser's sister-in-law" gives lessons?

Look for a local driving club and mini horse club, both can help you out! :)

And to locate those clubs, look on these:
www.americandrivingsociety.org
www.amha.org
www.shetlandminiature.com
