Amazing Ride Today!!

Today I had an AMAZING ride with Jubilee. I've been trying to get her to be really supple and working on the bit. Today she was sooo good. I did tons of outside/inside bends both directions in circles, walk and trot. She was SOOO soft on the bit! Didn't toss her head or tug or anything. She developed a bit of "lipstick" too. My friend Nikki was kind of coaching me and she said you could see her hindquarters working under her and she was framing so nicely! She was seriously perfect today! If anything as bad, it was because of me, not her. What a trooper she is! And then! .... I had been using A TON of leg on her the whole time, to get her to frame and then after I was done, and was cooling her out, I took my feet out of the stirrups like usual, but this time, just let the reins go, (not on the ground, just at her neck) and I was guiding her with my leg only! She wasn't just going in a straight line either... I did TIGHT circles with her and figure 8's as well!! With no rein whatsoever. Just a ton of inside and outside leg!! She listened just as well as if I did have a rein on! I am realizing more and more what an amazing horse I have. She has so much dressage training in her. I just need to tap into that somehow! I need a dressage coach!! I know I am gushing about this but I just had to share because I had such a great ride!!!
