Bad day for eventing

Bad day for eventing! 2 riders killed and one horse dead.
Benjamin winters (GER) had a rotational fall at luhmulen died from head injuries.
A Canadian rider died in a fall at an event in Somerset
A Horse collapsed and died on course at luhmulen

My thoughts are with the riders families and with all connections

How awful is that It was one story after another on Eventing Nation- the horse suffered an Aortic rupture, and died within a few seconds of collapsing. I've loosely been following Luhmühlen, and hearing about Winter's rotational fall was terrible And then another death! Just tragic. Condolences to all the families and riders.
