I wish I lived near mountains to ride in, but I'm close to the beach so go down there fairly often during summer. I do love the beach, and it's such a brilliant work out to strengthen the hind end on your horse, trotting through the shallows :)

I love the mountains! The beach is fun, too. But the scenery and wildlife in the mountains can't be beat, in my book.

Thanks everyone! I recently moved closer to the mountains and know of some places where you can take your horses and ride them along the trails. But right now my horses are still back closer to the beach. I'm going to try to sometime ride at one and maybe eventually both places. :)

I think both rides would be great :0) As long as it is on Horseback it will be beautiful. I go quiet often to the beach and it is sooo good for the horses feet! The cold salt water cleans them really nice and the sand it perfect for their feet. And it is good exercise for them, but so is riding anywhere I guess! Whatever you do, enjoy it and post pics :0) Enjoy and a safe ride!!!!
