bell boots or grab/quarter boots?

Does anyone have an experience with grab/quarter boots? Chet pulled his shoe off at the show this past weekend, so now I need to start putting him in some sort of overreach boots when we jump bigger. I don't usually ride him in overreach boots, but he goes out in Davis bell boots. I need to get something different though, because they're not really durable enough for jumping and they turn when he gets moving. Should I invest in some nicer bell boots or just get grab/quarter bell boots since they're thicker and won't turn? I've never used them before so I don't know how effective they are.
There are also no turn bell boots, which cost about the same as regular bell boots, but are a little more expensive than grab boots.
Suggestions?
