    Unhappy bucking

I ride a energetic 14.hh Cobbie mare .I am only ten but have had a lot of experience with horses .We have done fun rides camps ect .ect Today in went for a lesson. She was very energetic. My instructor told me to trot on.We were on to our second lap of the arena when she gave a massive leap up in to the air and finished with a big buck .I fell of and hurt my wrist. But was alright. She was lunged around for a while and then she was grand
    Any solutions?

    Welcome to the forum :)

Firstly, is she yours, or a loan or part of a riding school?

It may be pain related. Her saddle may not fit right, her back may hurt or her teeth may need doing. Also, if she is a mare, she may get sensitive when she comes in to season.

It may have been a feeling of freshness, and she just wanted to let beans out!

Hope your wrist is better soon!

If she was fine after being lunged, I would think that she was feeling a bit fresh.

What is she getting fed, and how much work does she do? She might be getting too much feed for the amount of work she's doing.

We have had problems with high energy foods before so know she gets a supplement for when she is in season with some carrots and apples.
