    You'd be better off vet-wrapping your calved to make a pseudo- half-chap than vet-wrapping the leathers. The reason you get pinched is because your calf is getting pinched between the leather and the saddle-flap. Wrapping and cushioning the leather won't help - you can still get pinched between the leather and the flap. You need to protect your calf from the inevitable pinch-action.

    That saddle is really forward cut suitable for jumping rather than general riding and is not always the easiest style to teach yourself in. Really need to see it on your horse to see if it is still tilting back.
