Doc's little outburst...

Well my horse was being ridden by another girl because the horse she usually rides arthritis issues, so I had to ride the school horse Doc. He is not really for beginners. When he first arrived to the stable he had to be in a stall to get tacked up and he still "ran" in circles. Doc can't be tied up either, because he runs back when we try to, so I tack him up while he is just standing around. My trainor thinks he might have been abused at his last home. He is a wonderful trail horse, my trainor loves riding him. Okay so, the lesson wen't great until the very last canter......... He bucked, and then ran into the dressage fence. It was broken off in three differnt places. Doc has never acted this way before and I was shocked at his behavior. Yep I was bragging on him that day until his outburst.doc12.jpg

Are you sure it wasn't the girl doing something wrong? Everybody rides differently, maybe he got so confused by the different riding ways that he had an outburst...

No I am the only the person that has been riding him.
