Does anyone remember JimmyG trying to post back in June?
I wrote back in June asking for advice. Many of you gave me good advice. I switched riding schools, obtained an instructor more experienced in adult training and found more adults to ride and take lessons with. It was a great move. I just bought my first horse and we will be teaching him to jump. Thanks to those that gave me such good advice. JimmyG
Well, I have never sent pictures and so I am not sure if this will work. But I have tried to attach 3 pictures. On the closeup of his face, you can see his blaze is shaped like a question mark. His registered name is: "Question marks the spot" His nickname is Q and I am keeping that name as well. His show name is: "Never too late" because I believe it is never too late to engage in something yuou are passionate about.
Thank you. Yes, he is APHA registered. I need to send my paperwork to change him over to me. He has been used western and so we want to teach him to jump. I think I need to get him in a little better shape as well. He will be ridden and cared for a good bit more than he is used to.
Very handsome boy! Good luck with your learning together! Once I bought my horse I kept a diary of our time together, like lessons, trailrides, feelings, things learned. It is fun to go back and see what our "issues" used to be, that are no longer things we need to overcome.
