Question Dryness/bleaching on inside of boots...help?

My field boots are a few years old (I think 5 or 6 now) and I've noticed dry spots on the inside of them where it made contact with the saddle and the horse. I'm sure doing bareback classes on a sweaty horse didn't help!
It looks like they are just dirty, but it doesn't come out with cleaning. When I polish them, they look great, but when the oil dries a bit more they appear again.

While you can't see them while I'm riding, it bothers me! And when I do showmanship classes, it looks like they're dirty.

Any advice? I have neatsfoot oil and mink oil on hand.

Riders aren't 16 and pregnant. Riders are 16 and arthritic.

If polishing your boots isn't getting you the results you want, you might want to re-dye your boots. I had that professionally done to a pair of boots and they came back looking brand new.
