Exercises for a better canter?
Just wondering if there are any ground (or on horse besides the actual canter
) exercises to improve your seat/movement at the canter?
I cantered pretty nicely for while (per my instructor), but for the last 2 times she's saying all my back looks very tense and I move the upper body with my hips on canter. Given all this bad weather and some other problem I had lately it looks like something physical (I do have some sudden issues posting too lately - I can feel my legs go forward too much). Are there any exercises to loose the back and move more freely on horse?
