I didn't realize how expensive other places are! I am planning on being a riding instructor when I get older, so it's nice to know I can get more for my services

But your idea sounds great kathryn! There's a lot of stuff going on in my life, so meditating and letting them leave my mind for the hour and a half I ride should help me alot! I really concentrated during my last lesson and tried really hard so my trainer was very pleased! It didn't come without a price though! My legs are absolutely KILLING me! LOL!

Watch other people ride as much as you can as well. Just hang around the barn for a while before/after your lesson, watch others, and do a bit of mental critiqueing in your head. I enjoy going out and watching the shows held at my barn as well.

And if you have nothing better to do, watch horse movies =). I can't watch a horse movie without critiqueing the riding anymore. It's always fun seeing how ridiculous some people look.
