    Gloves?

Does anyone have any recommendations on gloves? I have been getting really bad blisters from the braided reins I use. I've even been using a light blue pair of Rugged Wear gloves to no avail. I'm so sick of getting blisters from the reins on my ring fingers.

I have a pair of synthetic riding gloves from Dover, and they work great for me. Only about $5.

SSG has some good non slip palm ones. They even have a winter pair of gloves that puts your pointer, middle and ring finger together with your pinky alone so you can put the reins through your hands properly.

I have issues with the skin being very easily ripped off the fingers. I ALWAYS wear gloves. I use this pair Dover Saddlery | SSG® Lycrochet Ultraflex Riding Gloves. and love them. Very comfortable and those holes on top (I believe top is cotton) keep the heat and sweat down.

I have a pair of Ariat gloves that I love, they are kind of pricey but my brother bought them for me for christmas.

    I loooove SSGs.
Granted, I only wear gloves when riding cross country (and sometimes not even then) but SSGs pretty much last forever. I had a pair for about 8 years that I rode in almost every day.
