Guter Sitz?!

How the heck do you put it on?! Fingers? Sponge? I mean this stuff is sticky,.....

I use my fingers and just dab it on my boots. I try to be close to a bathroom if possible to wash my hands thoroughly after, or use several baby wipes to get it off.

I wear contacts, so I always make sure I wash my hands several times once I get the chance to make sure there is no residue left before touching my eyes.

I use my fingers as well and make sure to have a rag nearby to scrub my fingers off. That stuff is potent!

There's a spray in an orange can called Sporty Haft that's much easier to deal with but isn't nearly as sticky and doesn't last as long.

Where did you buy yours? Every once in a while I find some at a tack trailer at a show but the only place I can find it online was overseas stores.

I think I got mine at Greenhawk as well upnover...but it was at a horse show, so it could have been any of the tack trailers.

I looked on the website, but it didn't come up, so now I am not sure!

What is Guter Sitz?? I'm guessing some sort of conditioner for leather?

It's a kind of creme (looks like vaseline if you ask me!) that helps you stick to your saddle, and it is REALLY sticky!
