    HAcking with dogs

Does anyone else take their dogs with them when out hacking (trail riding) on their horse? My 3 wolfhounds love a romp along the bridleways with my Clydesdale. We do cause a bit of a stir though because people think I'm riding a Shire and leading 3 Shetland ponies! LOL

I take my dog every day on trail rides and it is awesome, good for horse, me and the dog. Love it and hate riding without my little girl! Have to say that my dog is really well behaved off leash (which took a long time) but that is really important when out with horses, unfortunately lots of people do not share that opinion...

Always, in fact Alfie looks for them if they don't all come ! I know we probably look a little funny when you see Alfie, a terrier, a dachshund/terrier cross, a sheepdog and an Irish setter/lab cross :)

Everybody else on the trail must feel really tiny when your procession comes along.

We take our 2 German Sheperds with us. There are people a few properties down with 5 German Sheperds, when we all go we have quite the army!

Here are Brodie, Sky and Diesel. The photo of Diesel sitting on my knee was taken when he was 6 months! He wanted to be a lap dog and still does. He's now two and weighs in at about 140lbs and he stands 10hh (40 inches at the withers!) LOL
The girls (his aunts) stand about 37 and 39 inches to the withers.
