I have this one and I love it.

Circuit Sheepskin Half Pad

I've tried a lot of different half pads, but this one is by far the best. I've been riding with it 2-3 times a week for almost a year and it's still really thick and soft.

Another Thinline fan. Although I don't like sheepskin one, so I use just plain comntour. It DOES make a difference - that's for sure.

my jumper is incredibly picky. We have a custom Voltaire that technically he doesn't NEED any half pads with, however he won't move - he will seriously stand there and grunt at you - if you don't use the following:

Thinline pad (not the ultra - the traditional one - which I can't blame him since I recently had knee surger #4 and have chiro issues w/my back so this helps keep me from screwing him up...in his opinion anyway)

Mattes half pad - he loves it. IDK why. Refuses to move without it even though the saddle fits him perfectly. Heck it's CUSTOM for him! But I do have to say it's lasted forever, and really held up for almost 8 years now and still going strong!

I have used the romas and I like them for normal horses (aka not my weird jumper) and I have a fleeceworks one that I really love that has the elastic in it on the sides to keep pressure off the spine. I use that on my clyde TB cross bc he is actually a little high withered.

Another thinline advocate! I have a plain thinline half pad, and LOVE IT. Only paid $70 for it, so also a bonus.

I have a Mattes sheepskin half pad that I absolutely adore. It's about 2.5 years old now and still looks and feels almost brand new.
