Unhappy Helper?????

Im hollie, im 13 and active and willing to learn,
Im starting to help out at the stables I ride at every sunday (8:30 - 12:00) and im worried cos im not very outgoing and embarrased to talk to the girls :S
Also, there is a horse called puzzle there and she is all I think about! She bites and kicks and squishes you againt the wall in her stble but when it comes to me she is perfect, hugs and kisses me and she is so gentle with me!! I am so addicted to horses, I watch videos, read, write ect ect what do I do to cure my obssession? Because I will be bored nad sad all day after I finish helping out!

Thanks :)

I think being a helper might pull you out of your shell a bit. Horses will get you to talk to other horse people... I used to be really shy as well but that changed:)

^That is SO true. Believe me, once you get me talking about horses, I never shut up! LOL! Being around horsey people who share the same interests as you do should definitely. Bring you out of your shell. :) You all share the same thing; so why not talk about it to them?

Ride more, worry less.

^I'm the same! Once I get going you have to ductape my mouth shut. Lol. But be yourself, and have fun. I was like that when I started helping out my barn. I started at 10. Now I'm 17 and we all goof around at times.

I could talk for ages about them especially if I went into the character of my ponies...and the experiences i've had...and...well i'm going to start rambling so i'll just shut up

Thanks everyone!!

I may not own you, but you are the only thing that keeps me going, the only thing that keeps me getting up in the morning, not dying in bed, if it wasnt for you, my life would be wasted away - ILY Puzzle xxxx

After you finish helping out can't you just hang around the barn for a while? I'm sure they would love it if you worked longer than asked to do! Also, I don't know about you, but when it comes to horsies I just can't stop talking!
