    Question Hunter Under Saddle??

    Anyone care to explain, in detail, what exactly hunter under saddle is and entails? It would be greatly appreciated. =)

    Basically, Hunter Under Saddle is the flat class of the Hunter division in a show, it shows the judge how well your horse goes around the arena and how you handle him. That's why most Hunter Horses in the ring look long and low and they flow through their strides.

    Here is a video of my horse. My sister is riding him. I show his at AQHA shows in the all around events. The first part of the video is HUS.

    That looks more like WP gaits than HUS though.

    He looks a little down hill. And it looks like he has a little limp.
