I didn't do much riding today, only about 30min to refresh what we had learned the day before BUT we spent an hour lunging her horse. She was showing me to get her to walk, trot, canter. She wants to work a lot more on that in the next following weeks to help gain my confidence. She also dropped the 1hr lessons down to $50 instead of $60! YAY! and she has yet to charge me extra when we go over. =D She really is the coolest instructor. =D

That's great that she is teaching you how to work with the horse on the ground too. Not enough riding instructors do that. Building a strong foundation on the ground will help build your confidence for when you're riding latter on. Once you've learned how to make a horse move it's feet while you're stand on the ground, they don't seem quite as big and intimidating.

I'm glad you are having fun.
