Smile I just had a great lesson!

Hi everyone!

I just had a really awesome lesson! I had my heels down because I didn't force them down they naturally went down and I practiced heel exercise for like a week before. My legs are getting better and are not perfect but are getting better. My reins are now at a good lenght not too long or short and my arms are getting to be locked but aren't perfect either. I had a great canter with a deeper seat then usuall but still leaving the saddle, and I got the walk to canter transition. Plus I was riding a mare that hates going on the rail when shes on her right lead so after 3 laps of inside leg outside rein I finally got her over...but only for a lap or so. Jumping was pretty bad, but we never refused a jump and we went over but my two-point was bad. On the last round though I had finally gotten a comfertable two-point position that my trainer said was good. After the lesson, I learned how to put on a blanket and I did it myself which we usually never get to do. PLUS, I was riding my favourite mare.

I wasn't perfect not even slightly perfect, but I did better than before and I had fun doing it! Like I always do!

I think that is wonderful! It is all about progression and learning - who cares if you're not perfect - so what! You tried, you attempted, you improved and your learnt!

Who can ask for anything more?

Well done!
