    Question Improving your riding...

I don't get to ride as much as I would like due to being in school and constantly doing homework and stuff. So I'm trying to workout and stuff to stay in shape and get stronger so I can do more when I do get to ride. I've done lots of ab workouts and pilattes (spell?). Any other suggestions as to workouts/exercises that would help improve my riding? Preferably ones that don't require machienary, but any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

Well, one that I do when I can't ride is to stand on the edge of a stair with the balls of your feet like you would with stirrups. Slowly sink your weight into your heels, hold it, and then come up. I usually do down, normal/flat, up, and down in two-point.

That is a good tip. I do it too!
