What kind of whip do you use for lunging your horse?

Well yeah a lunge whip. I dunno which brand, but it's cute colored! Haha its white and bright blue patterned.

I use a snowbee lunging hip as they're so little but my other half just uses a basic shires as my snowbee is to light for him.

I use Clinton Anderson's "Handy Stick". I know its not really for longeing, but it works.

If something is named for what it is used for I think it is pretty obvious what should be used for said activity.

Same reason a swimming pool is named as such.

Perhaps a better phrased question would be "What brand of lunging whip do you prefer?".

true. I was confused at first too. But I just further answered the question because I figured since she was on a horse forum, she already knew the basics :P

You would think so but history has often told us differently. With 5 posts to the OP-er's name it is hard to judge.

Because there is the inability to see what the OP meant we have to rely on the written word and being clear is imperative to getting a clear and useful answer.
