New to the Forum :o)

I'm new to the forum and so far just browsing around and reading threads. I've been riding for a little over a decade and training for 4 years and just wanted to say how THRILLED I am to find a hunter riding community where 90% of you sit in the saddle! I look forward to getting some great equitation critiques from you all!!!!

Full seat or 3-point?

(Maybe you can help lend some expertise to the 'two-point vs jumping position' thread ...)

And WELCOME!! Hope your stay's a good one.

welcome!!! I haven't been here in a while but I used to be a regular and plan to be again. I LOVE it here. For the most part (while there will always be disagreements) there's not much snarkiness, and people here really imo RIDE. Not sit on pretty $$$ show horses and ooh and ahh over ribbons (sorry can't stand forums filled with that!)

Glad to have you here!

Where are you from and what kind of riding do you do other than hunters?

I'm a beginner; would someone explain the difference between full seat and point?
Thanks - my goal is to ride in my area hunt this Fall.
