New horse is here!!!

YAY! Knightly arrived this afternoon, and I LOVE HIM. He's not the same horse as in the pic, because I posted the wrong pic haha. Here he is:

He's such a sweet horse, he's a 16.2, 11yr old OTTB. And I rode him today, wow. He was PERFECT. He acted like he didn't just get off a trailer into a new barn. His gaits are soooo smooth. His trot is TO DIE FOR. Like, he's so floaty its impossible to pick up the wrong diagonal. And his canter is so smooth, Its just, amazing. He didn't spook at anything, and there were tons of spooky things around (Birds chirping, a horse jumping, a dump truck outside, and a horse banging his bucket against the wall just to name a few).

He has alot of scars tho..not sure what from, I posted a thread in Health about growing his hair back too.

I'm just sooo excited!

Oh, what a sweet face. I'm the biggest sucker EVER for Thoroughbreds. Especially OTTBs.

He is handsome! Congrats! Try some vitamin E capsules for the scars...helps the hair grow back faster. Just pierce them with a safety pin and then squirt some on your finger and rub it into each of the scars. Good luck! Enjoy him!
