I love riding bareback! A lot of times, at the therapeutic stable I volunteer at, I end up riding bareback most of the time when I exercise horses. Especially our chunky halflinger, Dean. He's a chow hound and eats everything in sight! We're working on getting him to drop his extra weight but until then, he doesn't fit in a saddle haha :P

One of my students has 2 Haflingers. The younger one is a pulling type and quite the tank. I climbed on her bareback in their pasture and it felt like riding a barrel. Closest I've came to doing the splits since I was a kid

She is KILLING my old arse!! We just got in from the barn, at least I already did my bareback for the was trotting xs. She enjoys torturing me, and she's only 12.
