I do a lot of no stirrup work year around, especially in the colder months when we get stuck in the indoor so I guess you could say I'm participating.

I'm participating!

As I ride multiple horses in a day, I'm only riding 1-2 horses without stirrups everyday. My legs are already feeling the burn, but I feel much stronger already! Jumping without stirrups is a blast too.

I ride bareback because i am looking for a new saddle
but I ride stirrupless all the time

Moving barns this weekend, so we'll probably stick with stirrups until he's used to his surroundings... but after that, I'll bite. :) I could use some good no stirrup sessions.

yes, my trainer has all of her students riding stirrupless for a little bit of our lessons this month. have to say i was pretty sore afterwards

LMAO, Strange! I just started riding again after 7+ months break, and I have issues with my (hm-hmmmm) bottom (and all) even with the stirrups.

Just saw this. We had no power November that first week. Guess now it's time for the no stirrups part. Sure I'll give it a try. I'll even take video so you guys can all have a good laugh.

You just have to see your don't have to like it.
