Officially Riding Again

Well, I think that after today, I am officially riding again. How do I know? Why, I came off the horse of course. :p

The horse spooked at something, I got him back under control and then he suddenly jerked in the other direction and I didn't go with him...guess I need to build my leg strength back up. I remember that at one time I had velcro legs - nothing could make me fall off.

I rode for 7 years, but had to stop in high school because the money ran out. Now, I'm starting back up again - more than 10 years later, so I'm having to get it all back again and I hate feeling like a spaz. I remember being much more rubbery at 14.

Sorry hear about your fall. But you know they always say that falling makes you a better rider. Just keep working at it ... it'll all come back. I think riding is something you can't totally forget how to do.

Good luck and welcome to the forums!

LOL. I remember hearing once that you're not a real rider until you've come off 10 times. I hadn't hit my quota yet when I stopped....maybe I was saving up for now. :p
