Hey all!
Just wanted to let you all know how we got on at the ODE yesterday!
My mare Flo was awesome! She has only ever done one dressage test, 2 jumping classes and only played around at a small cross country centre but she acted like a complete pro!
At home, plaited up and waiting to go
The dressage judge said she was "the perfect dressage type", and absolutely loved her. She grabbed me afterwards and went through how we could improve etc and apparently she just doesnt do that!
Warming up!

The test starts....
After the dressage we were in 1st place with 36.9penalties and I believe that to be 66% but im not sure i just roughly worked it out. We then went and walked the cross country course! To my horror for a mini ODE the fences were very tricky. Some serious drops and unusual stuff which i really wasnt sure what Flo (my mare) would think of.
Quick change!
I took my mind off the xc quickly to concentrate on the show-jumping, she only had 4 faults due to gorping and knocking a pole but i really wasnt bothered by that- she did good!! I have no pics of this section as my chap forgot he had the camera. Doh! So after the show-jumping we were lying in 3rd place!
Warming up...

All done!
My chap forgot the camera during the sj-ing so affraid no pics!
We had a quick change into xc gear and went over a couple of practise logs. She wasnt very confident and so i was anticipating the worst. Anyway we ended up going round with only 1 hessitation and one refusal! She still jumped everything, with no style at all but she went over! hehe
