Currently riding in a single jointed Kimberwick. It's okay as far as how Rainy likes it, but honestly, I'm not a fan. When asking for a headset, it's either super nosed out or completely overflexed. Trying to get the happy medium is next to impossible. I've tried a simple D-ring snaffle, and I have no control over her head that way. Suggestions? Either for a different bit or exercises for headset, I'm open to anything. I have plenty of time to work on it- all through winter- but I'd like to get it down by late spring/early summer, and I really want some advice. Thanks guys!
PS: I know bits are the fix-all, but I do think some horses work better in certain bits, and I don't know if a Kimberwick is the best choice for us.
