My trainer finally asked the question! She asked if I wanted to show! Of course I agreed and so did my mom. But its a lot of money. Im useing some clothes from my friend (a blouse, hunt coat, breeches) but I need a velvet helmet cover and some gloves and I want tall boots.

First do you know of any helmet covers that look like real velvet helmets? (i might be borrowing a helmet from my friend if we arent in the same class but we might be)
Second, do you know where there are any nice quality but still good priced leather show gloves?
Lastly, do you know any well priced tall boots (i perfer the type with the laces for decoration with the zipper in the back.)

There is a tack shop nerby that has pretty cheap tall boots (around $100) but I want to see all my options

As for the gloves, try the tack shop - they'll probably have something that will work for about $20 or so.

Boots are tough - I'm having trouble finding a pair that fits. If your tack shop has some, that will be the best place to try as they can fit you - you might also ask if they resell used stuff as you can get some really good tries that way. And the ones with laces are called Field Boots, as opposed to Dress Boots, which don't have the laces.

If you get tall boots, remember that they will take a while to break in, so don't buy them just before your show! Leather tall boots are always going to be expensive (I'm planning on buying some for ~$200, and that's on the cheaper end of the spectrum). A cheaper option would be Saxon Equileather (I believe- go on Dover and search 'Saxon'), which are, I believe, around $70. I agree with PoohLP, go to a tack shop near you and look around.

Tack shops should also have a layaway system too. I've found ebay to be quite helpful as well.

Thanx for all the comments so far. I will be looking at used tall boots but at the tack shop they are pretty well priced so I will definetly check there. There were a pair of leather feild boots that I loved that were $80!

I know they take a while to break in. I have vollenteered to sweep the barn and vacuum my house weekly haha
