Bahahahahahaha... That's what I ride in too! Frankly, I don't have anything nice looking for the winter besides the boots. If I'll be able to get something cheap enough I may try to show, or just give up. I'll definitely let you know how it goes (if it will ). The show is mid of Jan, so just a month from now. :)

Are there any outlet malls near you Val? I scored big at an Under Armour outlet on vacation. Ended up buying men's mountain cold gear (they had tons of mens sz sm on a clearance rack) and got shirt & tights for $35. The same thing in women's at the outlet were double the men's price. I wore the tights under my breeches over the weekend (it was 18 degrees) and stayed plenty toasty.

We have some Malls close by, so it's not a big deal. But I'm still very very unsure about the show coat. It's very cold and rather tight (so I can't put layers under and still feel comfortable). I'm thinking about getting warm breeches, but use the usual jacket I ride in may be. Heck, if the points will be taken down because of that I don't really care (and the rules said "informal", so I assume they can't disqualify me completely).
