Question Side Saddle?

What do you guys think of this sidesaddle?

It's an antique plantation saddle, and the ad says it has a medium tree. The lady said they showed an arabian in it for 4 years, so I didn't think it would fit my horse, then she told me it should because they're built for wider horses and that they used 4 inches of padding to make it fit their horse.

I have a percheron, but she's not too wide. I ride her in a warmblood english saddle and a western saddle with full quarter horse bars and they both fit her fine. Do you think this saddle would fit her?

I'm also concerned because she said that you use a regular english girth with it, but in the saddle that shows the rigging, it looks like it would use a western girth. How would you hook an english girth up to that?

Is it online? If its at a local tack shop ask for a trial. I don't like buying antique saddles but that's just me.
