So Happy :D

Well Thumper came in from the pasture a while ago with a cut and a swollen leg, so he was on stall rest. He absolutely HATES it. Yesterday he was bucking in his stall, and he neighs nonstop during the day. Yesterday when I wasn't in lessons I just hung out with him in his stall and hand-grazed him while I ate my lunch (i stay out all day on Saturdays). He's still stuck inside, but I was able to walk/trot/canter him yesterday. I was just able to walk him on Thursday. He was great! Especially considering the fact that he gets really hyped up when he doesn't go out, and it was his first time in the outdoor arena doing walk/trot/canter. He was a bit powered up at the canter, but we did walk/trot transitions for a while to get him to pay attention to me. I also had two other lessons on other horses, so I was kind of exhausted by the time I came home, haha. Especially with my instructors new task for me: jockey stirrups :). And if you read all of this, you get a big fat thank you :).

I agree! :) Sounds like everything's sailing smoothly! I bet you're exhausted though, that's a busy day! :)
