Great job by the way!

You two look wonderful and I suspect we will be able to watch a great partnership evolve between you two.

Now, you have started something and you must follow through. We need updates on EVERY show, with lots of video (Train you MOM!!) and photos.
Thank you, Allison! I remember when I posted her pics while back (last year) while being very frustrated and discouraged by my then trainer, you were the fist one to say this horse CAN be trained to come off her forehead and learn to go round with the right trainer. And you were so very right (even though it was hard to believe that time).

I don't think she'll progress any higher than level 1 because of her confo (and that's opinion of my trainer as well), still it did look SO unreachable back then. And I think we'll see too. To my surprise she seems to enjoy it most of the time, and she definitely did look very proud when she made those tests (and now requires attention all the time already for the 3rd day! ).

I know how it is to have little warm-up. I accidentally ran behind at my show a couple weeks ago and had 15 minutes to warm up before a 1st level test on a horse who was only showing 1st for the second time. Whoops!

Are you planning to show some more?

P.S. What's your horse's name?
Thank you, IW!

I'm hoping to show till Sept (given everything goes smoothly). IF I'll be lucky I hope to try my paint as well to see how she goes (unfortunately she's too hot/easily excited, so I'm not sure if she's ready). My qh's name is Jemma (registered name BB Coastalong Woody, Canadian bred). I don't think QHs are that frequent in dressage ring around here. I havne't seen/heard of many (and I believe she was the only one at this show). But then who cares! I agree with Allison: it's all about heart and willingness.

Thanks, FP!

He-he... Proper stuff were hard to find (so the quality and price would be both satisfactory).

Wow, KV, you girls look great!! Wonderful job .

Always remember that feeling of looking at a big, open country over the ears of a good horse, seeing a new trail unwind ahead of you, and that ever-spectacular view from the top of the ridge!!! Follow my training blog: http://robertsontraining.blogspot.com/

Great job! Ha, love people who tell you your horse can't do something! You guys look great.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.
