Yesterday it was....(drumroll) 60!! It will be so nice to get the horses in the outdoor, and I already have some fly spray and a mask. Not looking forward to to flies, but definitely to the warmer weather. He'll be into his new blanket soon! No insulation wooohooo!!

I have an indoor ring where I ride, and there are not that many trails, but I'll be getting back outside into the roomy (finally) outdoor ring with better jumps!

Now I can look out the window and see a spot of green on the lawn! Joy!

Yesterday was the first day I have went riding since November. I took my moms mare and she was ready to go. I only walked and trotted because it was so muddy. I think she wanted to get out though.

Today its not as warm but I am going to ride my mare today. She will even be worse (crazy go go go thing) than Bella but I have a new helmet to All Is Well.

    EEEEEeeeeeeeee Im so happy!

It was 88 yesterday, I think I have you all beat lol. Riding is a lot easier in the winter here though than in the summer.

Oh man I hope it's nice enough to ride tomorrow. The weather wasn't so great last weekend so no ride - but I did take my colt for a walk around the property. I don't mind riding in snow (if it's not too deep) but I can't stand trying to ride in the mud that's left after. It's so freaking slick it's ridiculous to even try. :(

Its warm and muddy here from all the rain/flooding but starting to dry out. We're mostly eventers here so we ride in just about anything... and have a lovely indoor with soft footing to ride in when it's gross haha. I much prefer fall and winter to spring but that's just me ;)

Fingers crossed things pan out and pretty soon i'll go from riding 2-3d a week to more like 4-5 I hope!

Yesterday was the first time I rode my mare Bella since the end of November, she was pretty good for having almost 4 months off, I only rode her in the round pen tho, she was being a little fresh(and she is in heat) Hopefully we'll be able to hit the trail in a few weeks!
