Oh yeah. Once you know, you know when you are correct. It just takes lots and lots and lots of practice.

The horse you are riding will also influence your ability to feel it too. Some horses trots are lofty and big, some float along, some jar you to the bone, and some of them are so busy it is hard to keep up. Finding the right horse to teach you will help a great deal as well.
