    Super excited!

My lesson today was fabulous!! Destiny started off a little mare-like and annoying because she doesn't much like the side reins, but I got a crazy extended trot from her, and according to my new (and amazing) coach, I was riding really well and using my elbows as hinges and turning my thumbs up and turning my toes forward.

Ugh, I'm just so happy! It was a shorter than normal lesson but both my coach and I thought it was best to end on an amazing note and just do some horsemanship. We had both of our horses trotting after us and stopping on a dime and cantering next to us

We brought our mares in and cold-hosed their legs and put some sore-no-more on their knees and hocks and backs, and desys bum cause she's a little stiff now that she's finally using it!

Big buckets of beet pulp (80% of which was politely sprayed on my by Des's fat lips) followed that and I can't stop smiling.

Sorry for the rant! Just so happy with today!

I love having great days like this too! It is always a cloud nine feeling, congrats. I am also glad to hear that you still have your lease with Dest despite the whole saddle etc fiasco thing!

Yes the saddle fit thing worked out! Her other leaser dropped out on her so she's allowing me to use it now that my seat is better and I'm ecstatic. :)
