Tall boots?

I am a Western rider but I was looking to get some tall English boots if/when I grow out of my current Rod Patrick boots. I wanted to get some tall boots to not only ride in, but wear with an outfit as regular boots. What boots are durable but don't cost a fortune? My max. Price is about $100-$120.

Thanks!!

I suggest to look in consignments. Good brands don't go for $100/new in usual stores, and not so good brands don't hold up for long usually (unless you are very lucky).

Good English riding boots usually are pretty rigid through the ankle/calf to provide support. I've never had a pair that were comfortable for walking, so finding boots that are good for both riding and wearing with outfits might be a challenge.

I honestly don't think tall boots would look very good with a non-riding outfit. They also will wear out much faster and will be exposed to more elements that could lead to cracking in the leather unless you take super good care of them. My tall boots are treadstones and I bought them new for around $250 with a discount. I had a pair of Saxons once, but they did not last long and they were a regular $100 on clearance for $25. Look for a good used pair in good condition if that's all you can spend at the moment.

These might be a good fit for you! Horze.com sells these sporty tall boots that have a zipper and elastic on the back, but like a heavier sole as you can tell so it's like way more durable (at least in my case, every pair of tall boots that I've ever worn out have worn away at the soles or the seams/stitching towards the toe/foot)
I've never boughten these boots from horze, but i've bought several other products and I've always been surprised by the quality for the price. For $100 I would try it!
