Training horse, bit ideas?

So I have this 2 year old that I am starting to break in. I have never broke in a horse before, so I need some bit tips. Most of my horses use snaffle, but I have tried that on her and she just hates it!

Before you mouth her, make sure you get her teeth attended to. If you try putting a bit on top of wolf teeth or other dental issues as a 'baby', I can assure you that she will have long term issues with bitting.
It is normal for a young horse to pull faces and give a bit of resistance to the first time they wear a bit. I was lucky with my current youngster, once he realised that it was going to kill him, he decided a bit was the most fantastic toy out, and now opens his mouth to take it with his 'happy face' on!

yes she does pull funny faces and has been checked by the vet, she has been trained to a bit for the past 6 months and is happy with it, but not snaffle

What sort of bit were you using previously?

Mods, grant me the serenity to see the opinions I cannot change, courage to change the ones that should change, and the wisdom to spot the trolls.

We have previously been using snaffle, as that's what all my others use
And we use egg butt snaffles for most of our horses

Did you use the eggbutt on this horse as well? Is it single or double jointed?

I'd mess around with different snaffles. My gelding hated my D ring but did great in a full cheek.
