Update About Lessons

Hey guys, if you remember, just a little while ago I talked to my old trainer at the horse show and told her I wanted to start taking lessons from her again. Well today she finally got to come out and see Jubilee for the first time! I was so excited. And a little nervous to see what she would say about her, but she LOVES her! She said she's so cute and she can't wait to see what we can do with her. Haha. I'm thinking of showing in just a beginner flat next year, so we'll see how that goes. (I've never showed before). Unfortunately I didn't get to show off Jubilee's undersaddle skills today because it was so crappy and rainy and we don't have an indoor arena. But we already booked a lesson for next Tuesday and I am sooo excited!! It's so nice to have my trainer back. It puts things into perspective for me. She also had a look at my saddle and oh gosh ... I find out that it has a broken tree! So yeah I've been riding her with a broken saddle. I had no idea! But I'm definitely going to get rid of that one and we're going to find one that fits properly. We're going to be working mainly on getting her all back into shape and muscled properly. I'm so excited and I can't wait until next week!!

Glad she likes Jubilee, but I'm sorry your tree was broken.... at least nothing bad happened while you were using it

How exciting I wish I could take lessons again from one of my old trainers (she moved far south of where I live). Sorry to hear about your saddle!

wow! Broken tree? I'm surprised that you wouldn't notice - was it uncomfortable to ride in? I guess it depends on where and how badly it was broken. How do you think it happened?

Yay! That's so exciting!! Its really nice when your trainer likes your horse and doesn't think you need a different one!

As embarassing as this sounds, I didn't notice. I'm awful with fitting saddles and recognizing if its broken or not. It was actually pretty comfortable.

Gemini - Yeah, I know. I'm happy about that.

Great to hear about the lessons, sorry to hear about the saddle. I can't imagine, that would really suck.
