    Update (AMAZING Day!!!!)

I had the most amazing day today. I rode Jubilee twice and she was AWESOME. We honestly made leaps and bounds today. I've been working on getting her soft on the bit and slowing down her gaits. Today was sooo much progress!! I've learned to ride her first on a loose rein, with no contact, and gradually add contact. I use my seat and legs to direct her and little rein. It works wonders, and she's responding beautifully. Gradually I add contact. She was putting her head into frame today and working underneath herself. Her pace was GREAT ... so even and controlled. Her transitions were much better. We even went up to canter and it was the best its been in months!! A lot smoother and controlled and she didn't toss her head and get all excited when I asked her for it. There's still lots of things were working on ... but today was a milestone for progress. I'm sooo proud of her!!! I even took her out on the road away from the barn (just leading, not riding) because I want to get her used to trail riding, and she was sooo good. She was just amazing all around today, on crossties, with feeding, everything. She usually is amazing with groundmanners, but I noticed it especially today. Anyway, I know I'm totally gushing, but I'm soooooo excited!!!!!!

Hawaiigirl, that is a great way of putting it. I think that's how we both felt!
