IMO go to a saddle shop, sit in a bunch of saddles and get their up close opinion. If your 6 ft then you most likely need a long flap, they make them in regular and long...forward too if you need it.

Why an AP? I find that AP saddles put people in bad positions, but that's just me. I ride hunter and also western. I prefer a close contact saddle for english and a wintec trail for western. Most saddle shops will let you test a saddle as long as you put socks over the leathers and you can ride in it a few times. Saddle fit is very hard...

I like an AP saddle better than a close contact. It is a compromise between a jumping saddle and flatwork saddle but unless you are primarily doing jumping you will develop a better seat in an AP saddle. Ideally you would have one saddle for jumping and another for flatwork, I even jump a little bit in my dressage saddle (low jumps) LOL

It really depends on the saddle itself. I am 1,65m and 65 kgs and I can ride in 16" Kentaur saddlebecause of my short legs, and now I am riding in 17,5", I also had 17" Wintec on my pony mare. The benefit ofWintecs is the adjustableknee roll, I always put adj. Rolls most back and up it can get,so I reach there with my short legs. You can to the same backwards-put it as far front as possible, maybe even lower.

I ended up getting a 17.5 wintec and it is working out wonderfully for us both! Thanks for all the input

Can't see video but at 6 ft tall saddle needs to have a longer "skirt" to account for your longer thigh. So although seat probaby fits you the flap may need to be longer to allow your thigh and knee to remain in the proper position without forcing you into a chair seat.
