Well, I just got Jazz on lease on the 18th, and I have him for a year! (With the possibility of a second!)

    Jazz:
-Work on improving his canter transitions (they need to be more prompt).
-Work on consistently having square halts.
-Achieve a softer right bend (he is a little resistant in that direction).
    -Achieve show-ready leg yields.
    -Begin teaching him shoulder-in & haunches-in.
    -Begin extended work.

    Me:
-Ride all gaits without stirrups once a week
    -Improve symmetry
    -Square shoulders
-Relax back (I have a tendency to be hollow)

    All of this is to...
Score well in Training level dressage tests come spring, and be ready to show First Level in the summer.

    Thumper:
    -work on using his back
-get him to use his hind end more, instead of pulling himself along :)
-work on his form over jumps- get him square!
-get him ready for equitation and hunters next summer
-get him to relax and not be so nervous/concerned about everything

    Me:
-walk/trot/canter/jump no stirrups without contorting my body :)
    -get trail-certified
    -jump 3'
    -improve my equitation
-perfect my half-seat so I can have it in my 'toolbox' to use
    -SHOW First Level dressage

LOL I'll have a lot to work on over the winter!
