what are your thoughts?

i have two show jackets, a beige John McDougall "Kellyanne" and another Navy handmade one. Both are Single vent and longish. The beige Show Hunter one has a navy velvet collar and light brown buttons while the Navy one is quite plain..

i was thinking of getting a dual vent Navy one as well, but wasn't sure on whether or not to sell the single vent one.. I'd be keeping the Beige one for showhunter because it looks FANTASTIC and we had another, older of the same style but sold it as it was alot smaller than we thought!! money is no problem so i was looking at a cutaway jacket? or would that look funny on my build (158cm, skinny)? ill try to upload some photos..

What are you're opinions on single/dual vent as well as velvet collars/piping/gold buttons/cutaway styles?

As far as vents go, I think its personal preference. I think with 2 vents it's better and more comfortable but it's just me. As for the colors, unless you have a grey or redish roan horse that you plan to show, I would stick to navy blue.

hmm.. isn't the traditional show hunter/turnout single vent..? i guess i could keep my single vent nevy plus get a dual vent navy cutaway.. then get another show hunter one..
