I have $300 to spend on a saddle. No giggles, please...
I found an old Passier PSP VS in beautiful condition. Sound tree, perfect billets, tight stitching.
It's really comfortable, and it fits my bummy very nicely. However, when I look at the pictures, I wonder if the flap is going to work. It seems like it needs to be further forward or longer or something? Here are two pictures, with one notch difference in stirrup length.
I only ride for pleasure. I usually only ride on trails for an hour or two a couple times a week. I'll occasionally do some arena work just because it's good for me.
I don't really want a flap that's further forward, since I often ride TWH's. I don't really want a bigger seat size, since I tend to swim around in bigger seats and I like them kinda flat. I'm thinking this saddle might be a good compromise. I don't think I'll ever get a perfect fit without going custom (not within my $300 budget) because of my freakish build. I'm 5'8" and 130 pounds with a 23" thigh. This saddle is spec'ed as a 17", but measures 17.25", with a fairly flat seat.
