Question Winter Riding Exercises! help!!

Since it's snowy and stuff outside it's not always fun to ride outside. Yes we can do basic flat work and a bit of jumping. Can anyone suggest exercises that I can do while riding my horses?

Got any ground poles? I played a fun game today. I put down 4 ground poles straight down the centerline end to end about 20 apart each. First I did circles over them, then moved onto serpentines over them, then shallow serpentines to weave through them and then leg yeild between the first two, straightening and then another leg yeild the other way between the other two poles. There's like a zillion things you can do with 4 ground poles, all at the walk.

You just have to see your distance...you don't have to like it.

we have a few things weve been doing, like raisng them up a bit with a pole, making them narrow so that you have to back up through them. Stuff like that.
