Desperate for a vet work placement in essex, England! Can anyone help me :'(?!?

I had no idea where to put this, and this Is my last feeble attempt to try and grasp the career of my dreams. I have phoned, visited and and given in my CV and cover letter to every vet's in a 20 mile radius of my house with no such luck. I have been accepted onto a Veterinary nursing course at Writtle college, but the only way for me to continue onto this course I have to have a vet placement for so many days before it starts, and continuously throughout the course.

I know posting this here is a tad far fetched, but I'm willing to try just about everything now. Is there anyone at all that can help me?:'( I live in Southend, Essex and am willing to travel just about anywhere this side of the country, provided its accessible. Please help!

Why don't you talk to vets to see about an internship? Maybe that could be a compromise?
