Equine Major?

So I have been looking into majors to chose for at college. And I have a question, while it may be fun I know Equine Studies is not the best choice. But is Equine Science like the same thing or different, meaning is it a better choice in finding a career after graduation. I'm thinking of becoming an equine nutritionist or something along those lines. Sorry if this question makes no sense. Oh and would anyone know anything about animal science cause I was also thinking abut that. Thanks if you have any info!!

I finished this year with a equine management certificate. Let me tell you, its not the best way to go for a job. The horse world is under a lot of stress. So most are not hiring because of it. If you still want to get something in horses. I would do the one that takes less time first and then see how it goes.

If I were you I'd go into a vet program, whether it'd be vet tech or actual vet, rather than an equine program. I know it's so tempting to do an actual equine program, I would love to do one, but it's really not practical. Best of luck with whatever you decide!
