Im a Junior in high school right now, almost half way through the year, and have been thinking about Community Colleges (for now, since the grades I had last two years would be a turn down for any University!!). My sister goes to Laramie County Community College, and said something about lots of horses and a huge arena (shes there for a nurseing degree) and that got my attention.
So I checked it out, and read up on their equine studies
Equine Buisness Managment
Equine Training Managment
These are what they offer...
Now my question is... Anyone on HF going to, has been, or is at LCCC?
Are you in any of the three Equine studies they offer? Whats it like? Do you recommend it?
I wanna knowwww!!! (:
That girl is a Cowboy.
Sometimes the best cowboys, arnt cowboys at all.
I haven't attended, but have gone to a few of their events and know people who went through horse-related programs there.
They got lots of saddle time. Many different horses. Good guest lecturers. You're close enough to the front range of Colorado to get in on the well-funded hobbyist events. LCCC is well connected to people in the show world and internships and jobs become available to students in their programs.
