I understand hands on is important, and I would love to get hands on, but I'm in no position to pick up and move at least 2 hours. I plan on attending the bend Oregon cascade equine school- this is non-accredited and strictly teaches things like training, trail instruction and so on. I figure it's better then nothing at all. But if I could get an equine business degree I would be much better set up. I have looked into one school that is online- business degree with an emphasis is equine studies. You basically do a 4 year business degree and all equine classes are on nutrition, equine laws, and things along those lines where you don't have to be actual hands on. I KNOW again that it is NOT the ideal route, but I'm working as best I can with what I've got.
